1. Service
Budgie is a video tool that generates voiceover dubs and subtitles for videos you upload. It is provided "as is" without accounts or subscriptions: you buy processing time via redemption codes.
2. Codes & Quota
- Processing minutes are sold as redemption codes (e.g.
BUDGIE-XXXXXXXXXXXX) and are immediately delivered and activated after payment.
- Each package has an expiry: Starter 7 days, Standard 30 days, Pro 60 days. Unused time expires and has no cash value.
- Quota is consumed only when a video is successfully processed. Failed or cancelled jobs are not charged.
- Codes can be used on multiple devices. Abuse of codes (reselling, sharing beyond normal use, automated bulk processing) may lead to deactivation without refund.
3. Refunds
- You may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase if your code has not been used (no processing time consumed).
- If your code has been used, or more than 14 days have passed, a 20% handling fee applies to the refund.
- Any refund results in the associated code being deactivated and remaining quota being revoked.
- To request a refund, contact the Budgie Team through your PayPal transaction (PayPal holds our business contact details).
- Refunds are processed via PayPal and follow PayPal's refund rules and timelines.
4. Free Tier
Without a code you can process videos up to 15 seconds and download up to 2 results per day per IP address. Free processing files are deleted approximately 1 hour after creation.
5. Privacy & Data
- We do not create accounts and do not require personal information to use the service.
- Uploaded videos are used only to generate your requested output and are automatically deleted: free jobs after ~1 hour, paid jobs after ~24 hours (subtitle-only jobs after ~4 hours).
- We store only technical data needed for operation: per-IP download counters, processing session records, and your PayPal payer email linked to your order (for order records, refunds, and payment disputes).
- We do not sell or share your data with third parties except as required by law or payment processors.
6. Acceptable Use
- You must own or have the right to use any content you upload.
- You may not upload illegal content or use the service to infringe others' rights.
- You may not scrape, resell, or automate the service beyond normal use.
7. Disclaimer
Output is generated by AI and may contain errors, mistranslations, or imperfect timing. Budgie is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. You are responsible for reviewing any output before use or publication.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Budgie is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of data or processing failures. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the affected purchase.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes means you accept the updated terms.
