1. Summary
Budgie has no user accounts and does not ask for a profile. We process the media you upload only to produce the output you request, and we delete it automatically.
2. What we collect
- Uploaded media and generated output — used only to run your job and automatically deleted: free jobs after about 1 hour, paid jobs after about 24 hours, subtitle-only jobs after about 4 hours.
- Technical data — IP-based download counters for the free tier, redemption-code session records, and basic server logs needed to operate and secure the service.
- Free-clip limit — to allow one free clip per day without accounts, we store a keyed hash of your IP address (never the raw IP) and a random device cookie (
budgie_did). These records are deleted after a few days.
- Upload consent record — when you confirm you have the rights and voice consent for an upload, we log the time, the consent text version, a keyed hash of your IP address and, if used, your code/session, to document that consent.
- Order data — when you buy a pack, our payment processor handles your payment. We receive the order identifier, the pack purchased, the order status and the payer email address, which we keep for order records, refunds and payment disputes. We never receive your full card details.
3. How media is processed
To transcribe, translate and voice your media, the audio and text of your job are sent to third-party AI processing services (third-party integrations, not affiliated with or endorsed by Budgie) solely to perform the job. The service is hosted on a cloud hosting provider.
4. Sharing
We do not sell your data. We share it only with the processors needed to run the service (hosting, AI processing, payment processing) or when required by law.
5. Retention
Media is deleted on the schedule above. Order records are kept as long as needed for accounting, tax and dispute purposes.
6. Your choices
You can ask us about, or request deletion of, order data linked to your email by writing to budgie@agentmail.to.
